Aldi has announced plans to recruit and train more than 400 people throughout 2016, to support its ongoing expansion in Ireland.

In November the supermarket will open in Knocknacarra, Galway and Newcastle West, Co. Limerick – its 121st and 122nd stores respectively. 

It plans to open seven new stores in 2016.
