Buses have started entering the besieged city OF Aleppo to resume the withdrawal of civilians and wounded.
Syrian state media is reporting 1,200 people are due to be evacuated from rebel held areas. in return for a similar number from east Aleppo.
Aid organisations are supervising the evacuation, which ground to a halt on Friday because of a disagreement with pro-government forces.
The UN Security Council will vote later on a French proposal to send observers to Aleppo to monitor evacuations.
