One of Ireland's oldest third level colleges has announced its closing its doors after 172 years in operation.
All Hallows College in Drumcondra ran into financial difficulties due to a drop in student numbers.
The College was in the news this week after it reversed a controversial decision to auction a collection of letters written by Jackie Kennedy.
All Hallow's director of communications Carolanne Henry says the college's emergency fundraising plan wasn't enough to save the college.
