All-Island Brexit "Dialogue" to go ahead without DUP

The Government is to go ahead with an all-island dialogue on Brexit on November 2nd, even though the DUP and the North's First Minister Arlene Foster are unlikely to attend.

The DUP leader, who campaigned for Brexit, has already stated she has no interest in participating. 

The cabinet says work on preparing for Britain's exit from the EU will now intensify after Teresa May signalled she will trigger the departure by next Spring.

Ministers agreed that Budget 2017 will include measures which will support the overall economic response to Brexit.
