Heavy showers didn't dampen spirits at the 34th VHI Women's Mini Marathon this afternoon, and Today FM was there all the way!

Almost 35,000 women ran, walked or jogged 10K through Dublin city centre in one of the largest fundraising activities of the year for hundreds of causes around the country.

Siobhan O'Doherty from Tipperary was the first woman across the finish line in a time of 34.30. Natasha Adams from Donegal was second at 34.33 and Sarah Mulligan secured third place in 35.28. Sinead Kane won the Visually Impaired Category in a time of 71.00.

The Today FM team ready to go!

Over 800 different charities use this event as a fundraiser for their organisations.
