The boss of Amazon is defending the company after a former employee said he saw colleagues cry at their desks.
An article in Saturday's New York Times claimed workers with personal problems - like a family illness - are pushed out, and that replies are expected to emails sent after midnight.
Founder Jeff Bezos says the article doesn't describe the Amazon he knows.
