The Government wants to make our Education system the best in Europe within a decade.

The ambitious goal is part of the new Action Plan for Jobs, published today.

The Education Minister Richard Bruton was joined at the launch by Junior Minister John Halligan and Taoiseach Enda Kenny who proved a hit with the children at St. Brigid's school in Dublin;

The ambitious plan has 129 actions with hundreds of elements to them, but Ministers have failed to provide any details of cost for the plan, or any additional funding.
