An Irishman has died following a car crash in Estepona in Spain.
34 year old Dubliner Sean McShea, who had been living in the Costa del Sol for over 8 years, was the driver of a car that crashed at the entrance to Estepona port at 5 O'Clock this morning.
It is believed nobody else was injured in the collision.
In March of this year the former boxer was hailed a local hero after he risked his life to save dozens of people who were sleeping inside a burning block of flats in Duquesa Port.
Tonight the Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed that they are providing consular assistance to his family.
