American military officials say an Islamic State chemical weapons expert has been killed in a coalition airstrike in Iraq.
Abu Malik, who worked for Saddam Hussein, was reportedly killed in a raid near Mosul last week.
The US-led coalition has conducted almost 2 thousand strikes against IS targets in Iraq and Syria since they began last September.
