A group representing older people has hit out at the government over further cuts to grants.
Those in receipt of the housing adaptation grant for disabilities, the housing aid and the mobility aid grant will all be hit.
Age Action Ireland has hit out the move, saying it'll make it harder for the elderly to stay in their own homes.
The Department of Environment says the measure will mean a more focused distribution of the grants ensuring those that need them most will get them.
