Three former Anglo officials are spending a night in custody ahead of their sentencing tomorrow at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
Tiarnan O'Mahoney, a former Chief Operations Officer; former secretary Bernard Daly, and former assistant manager at the bank Aoife Maguire, were today convicted of conspiring to conceal accounts connected to former Chairman Sean Fitzpatrick.
After deliberating for almost seven hours and following a two-month trial, a jury found them guilty of all charges.
Francesca Comyn, Legal Affairs Correspondent with the Sunday Business Post, said the verdict was delayed by an anonymous call to the DPP's office this morning, claiming the jury had been "tampered with":
