Anne Enright's novel 'The Green Road' has scooped top prize at the Irish book awards.
The family story which spans a quarter of a century and three continents is officially the Eason Book Club Novel of the Year.
Enright was the first ever Laureate for Irish Fiction, and previously took top spot at the book awards in 2008 for her work 'The Gathering'.
The Arts Council says her 'intelligence, insight and dark wit make her one of the finest of contemporary novelists'.
