The cabinet is continuing its debate on water charges this lunchtime.

Ministers are not expected to reach a deal on the final shape of the water charges regime today - despite two weeks of negotiations between the parties.

Meanwhile there have been yet more protests in Cork by householders trying to stop water meters from being installed.
