Another earthquake has hit New Zealand's South Island, a day after a more powerful tremor killed two people.

The latest quake measured 6-point-2 and struck around 75 miles east of Christchurch.

There are no reports of any injuries yet.

Speaking yesterday, the Prime Minister John Key, said he was proud of how people were dealing with the shocks:
