A second US federal appeals court has upheld a decision to block Donald Trump's revised travel ban.

The US president wanted to stop citizens from six Muslim majority nations from entering the country.

The judges in the ninth US circuit court of appeals said he has violated immigration law by discriminating against people based on their nationality.

The US supreme court is also considering a separate case on the controversial proposal.
