Anti-social behaviour won't be tolerated at Oxegen

Gardai and Festival Republic are warning that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated at Oxegen this weekend.

Organisers say they expect up to 25 thousand people to attend the three day dance music festival at Punchestown racecourse in Co Kildare.

The line up for the event - which took a break last year - includes Calvin Harris, David Guetta and Snoop Dogg.

In excess of six hundred Gardai and up to one thousand stewards will be on duty across the bank holiday weekend.

Superintendent Ian Lackey from Naas Garda Station says the festival goers will be searched at the entry points:
