Gardaí in Malahide in North Dublin are appealing for help tracing a missing teenager.

16-year-old Daniel Starmer has been missing from the area since the 6th of June.

He's described as 5' 7" in height, with blue eyes and of slight build.

When last seen he was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a black hooded top, black runners and carrying a blue bag.

Investigating Gardaí believe Daniel may currently be in the Waterford area.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Malahide Garda Station.

Meanwhile, Gardai in Cork are asking for help in tracing a 14 year old girl missing from the Blackrock area for the last fortnight.

Louise Scannell was last seen on Ringmahon Road in Mahon on the 26th of May.

She is described as being 4 foot 11, of slight build, with black hair and brown/green eyes.

When last seen she was wearing a grey hoodie, navy tracksuit pants and a pair of Ugg boots.
