Apple has seen a huge surge in its fortunes - thanks to record sales of its latest iPhones.

It made a net profit of nearly €16 billion in the final three months of 2014, with a 30% jump in revenue.

The company sold well over 74 million iPhones over the same period - far more than analysts were predicting.
