Apple has officially unveiled its new music streaming service, called Apple Music.
The widely expected launch happened at an Apple conference in San Francisco.
The new service is designed to take on rival services like Spotify.
Apple's offering includes a curated radio service called Beats One and a platform for artists to reach out to fans called Connect.
However, Technology editor with the Independent group Adrian Weckler says it might not catch on with the younger generation:
Apple's also announced it'll launch its mobile payments system in the UK and Northern Ireland next month, but not yet in the Republic.
It allows iPhone 6 owners to tap their mobiles on terminals to pay for goods in shops.
