Gardai have fired shots during an operation to arrest three men suspected of carrying out an armed post office raid in Co Kerry.
The Garda Ombudsman is investigating the incident near Killarney.

Post Offices in Counties Kilkenny and Kerry have been held up by armed raiders.
In the latest incident, a man armed with a firearm stole a quantity of cash from Mullinavat Post Office in Co Kilkenny at around midday.
A man in his mid twenties was arrested nearby and is being questioned at Thomastown Garda station.
A sum of money was recovered.
Earlier, an armed gang raided a post office in Waterville, Co. Kerry.
They fled the scene in a small blue car.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to both robberies.
