A new recruitment campaign is underway for the Army.

It's looking for young men and women from all backgrounds and ethnic groups to become General Service Recruits.

The Minister for Defence Simon Coveney says he is committed to having a Defence Force that represents modern Ireland in terms of gender, ethnicity and sexual orientation.

Anyone interested can apply online at military-dot-ie or at your local barracks - but only if you're aged between 18 and 25.
