A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a Dublin inter-county footballer.
Jonny Cooper, who's aged 24, was stabbed a number of times on Dorset Street Upper near Dublin city centre.
The attack happened in the early hours of Saturday, September 20th last.
The man in custody is being held at Mountjoy Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Gardai are also renewing their appeal for any witnesses to contact them.
