Gardai are investigating after the attempted abduction of a man in Ardee yesterday.
The man was driving a silver Mercedes on the Ardee link road in Co Louth at around half past five yesterday when a grey Toyota Avensis crashed into him.
Three men then bundled him into the Avensis forcefully and drove off in the direction of the M1.
The man was released a short time later uninjured.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses
