Police have launched an investigation into the attempted murder of two police officers in West Belfast.

The officers escaped uninjured after multiple gunshots were fired at their patrol car in Rossnareen Ave last night.

They'd been parked outside the home of a traveler shot in the head last week, when they were attacked.
