AC/DC have confirmed that Axl Rose will be joining them on the remainder of their Rock or Bust tour.
The Guns and Roses singer will replace Brian Johnson who had to leave the group after he was told he could be risking 'total hearing loss'.
AC/DC said they "understand, respect and support" Johnson's decision.
In a statement the band said: "AC/DC band members would like to thank Brian Johnson for his contributions and dedication to the band throughout the years. We wish him all the best with his hearing issues and future ventures.
Axl Rose will step in for AC/DC's European tour dates before heading out on his own band's 'Not In This Lifetime' summer stadium tour.
AC/DC kick off the European leg of their tour on May 7 in Lisbon, but the band do not currently have an Irish date scheduled.
