It's thought the bodies of possibly seven babies have been discovered in a building in the southern German state of Bavaria.

Police made the discovery in the town of Wallenfels yesterday.

It's understood officers, who will hold a news conference later today, are waiting to interview the previous occupant of the residence, a 45-year-old woman.
