A baby girl has been born on Dublin's M50 motorway this morning, with the assistance of paramedics from Dublin Fire Brigade.
The emergency crew from Kilbarrack Fire station were called out shortly before 3.30 this morning.
The baby was born at 3.45 at junction 4 southbound - the Ballymun/IKEA exit.
Mother and baby are doing well and have been transferred to the Coombe Hospital.
Firefighter Donal Peterbridge helped with the emergency delivery:
