Bank of Ireland says an additional 6,000 customers will now be included in the tracker mortgage compensation scheme.

It says it's writing to 4,300 customers with an offer of compensation and setting out the range of options available to them.

The Bank says it wants to set out a clear path for the process and to compensate all affected customers by the end of the year.
