The head of the Banking Inquiry says he doesn't anticipate any resistance to compellability orders sent to more than a dozen senior witnesses.
13 of the country's top bankers during the Celtic Tiger era have been summoned to appear before the inquiry from next month.
The names include Bank of Ireland's current CEO Richie Boucher - who admits the bank made mistaskes during the crisis - as well as his predecessor Brian Goggin; and former AIB boss Eugene Sheehy.
Banking Inquiry Chairman Ciaran Lynch says he believes the witnesses will co-operate.
