The Banking Inquiry has put back the date for publication of its report by a week.

TDs and Senators met late last night and agreed to delay publication until January 27th.

Members were shown a final draft of the executive summary and recommendations yesterday afternoon.

It was heavily criticised and a new shorter version will now be drawn up and any amendments will be considered on Friday.
