Outgoing Fine Gael TD James Bannon says he will seek advice on legal options, after being eliminated in the 14th count in Longford-Westmeath this morning.
Labour's Willie Penrose is still fighting for a seat on day 6 of the count.
It's a vital contest for Labour as the party needs Penrose to become their 7th TD so they can secure speaking rights in the Dail.
