A plaque to commemorate the day the Beatles played a gig in Dublin has been unveiled.
On this day 55 years ago, the Fab Four played the old Adelphi Cinema on Middle Abbey Street.
The band played two sold-out gigs at the venue in 1963.
Lord Mayor of Dublin Nial Ring was on hand to unveil the plaque at Arnotts this morning.
Irish Broadcasting legend Gay Byrne was also there as the Beatles performance was commemorated.
