The female police officer who sustained facial injuries when she was attacked with a machete in Belgium is no longer in a critical condition.
The Belgian prime minister will return from holiday today to meet with security forces in Brussels following the attack on two police officers.
The attacker was heard shouting 'Allahu Akbar' - meaning "God is Great" in Arabic - at a police station in Charleroi near Brussels before injuring the two policewomen yesterday.
He was shot by officers and later died.
