Bereaved parents at Portlaoise say the stories are horrific

Bereaved parents attending a meeting in Portlaoise with the Health Minister say the stories they’re hearing are horrific and tragic.

Leo Varadkar’s been meeting with the parents of children who died at the hospital’s maternity unit in recent years.

The Health Information and Quality Authority said last week that it couldn’t definitively say the hospital was safe, after an investigation.
