The number of bikes reported stolen in Dublin city centre has dropped 7 per cent so far this year.

A new campaign has been launched today by the Dublin Cycling Campaign urging bike owners to invest in quality locks to deter thieves.

100 people have also been arrested by Gardai for stealing bikes in the city over the past four months – some as young as 14 years old.
