A new survey has found that bike theft in Dublin is having a major impact on the number of commuters cycling to work.
It is estimated that over 20,000 bikes are stolen in Dublin alone - that's a 100% increase since 2008.
And a new survey by the Dublin Cycling Campaign shows that one in six people who had a bike stolen do not return to cycling.
The Campaign is calling for a co-ordinated approach to the problem is needed - led by the Department of Transport.
