Contraband alcohol and tobacco has been seized at Dublin Port.

The haul was found when officials assisted by detector dog Bill searched a van which had arrived from Bulgaria via Holyhead.

23 litres of wine - 12 litres of liquor and 660 cigarettes were found - with a retail value of 2,400 euro. 

Two Bulgarian men, aged in their 40's, have been questioned and the investigation is ongoing.
