Pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine have handed over black boxes recovered from the wreckage of a Malaysia Airlines plane.

Nearly 300 people died when the aircraft was apparently hit by a missile last week.

Last night the United Nations Security Council unanimously passed a resolution demanding investigators are allowed access to the crash site.

But the US Ambassador to the UN, Samantha Power, is scathing about rebel fighters disturbing vital evidence.
It's expected further sanctions against Russia will be discussed as EU foreign ministers meet in Brussels this morning.
