A search has been launched for a blade stolen from a Paralympic hopeful in Monaghan.
42-year-old Shane McLaughlin, says he hasn't been able to sleep since the custom-made blade - one of only three in Ireland - was pinched from his car.
Gardaí are investigating.
Mr McLaughlin is due to compete in the shot put and discus at the Berlin Open next week.
