One of the country's largest shopping centres is being put up for sale.

The Blanchardstown Centre owners are hoping to get about one billion euro for the west Dublin property, according to the Irish Times.

The complex has 176 shops, two retail parks and a cinema and has capacity for further development.

It commands rent of just under 50 million euro a year.
