Gardai investigating the disappearance of Adrian Folan in Co Westmeath have sealed off a Quarry in Co Clare.
A man's body was found at the scene south of the Cliffs of Moher tourist centre.
The office of the State Pathologist has been contacted to send one if its team to Clare to carry out a preliminary examination.
Gardai this morning arrested a 40 year old man in connection with the disappearance of 41-year-old Adrian Folan.
Mr Folan was last seen in Athlone Town on the night of July 3rd at 11.40pm.
