Gardaí have confirmed that the body of a fisherman has been pulled from the waters off the coast of Donegal.

The remains of the 56-year-old man was recovered by the coast guard shortly before midday at Killybegs harbour.

It's believed the dead man was a Spanish national who had been working on a fishing boat nearby.

A post-mortem is to be carried out - however the death is not being treated as suspicious.
