Gardai are investigating after the body of a man was found in a recycling centre in Tipperary.

It's believed that the man's body was found in a wheelie bin by staff at the site in Nenagh.

Workers discovered the remains of the man in his mid-40s shortly before 10am this morning.

The man has not yet been identified.

The scene remains sealed off and gardai are treating the death as suspicious.
