A post mortem is to be carried out today on the body of a woman found at a house in south Dublin yesterday.

The woman - who was in her late fifties - was found dead at the house on Woodlawn Park Grove in Firhouse at around half past one yesterday afternoon.

The remains were taken to Tallaght Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out today.
