The body of a man has been recovered following a fire at a funeral home in Ardee, County Louth.

The man, believed to be a Lithuanian national, was found dead by search teams who were battling the blaze, which broke out at around 5.15 yesterday at Finlay's funeral services.

The body was discovered late last night.

The fire is understood to have started accidentally.
