A body has been recovered from the Bohernabreena reservoir in Firhouse in west Dublin, following a rescue operation.

Emergency services were called to the scene just after 4 o'clock this afternoon, after reports that a teenager got into difficulty swimming.

Gardai and the Fire Service are still at the scene.
