Usain Bolt has completed the so-called triple treble at the Rio Olympics.

The sprint superstar helped Jamaica to 4-by-100-metres gold, meaning he now has nine titles over just three Games.

That was due to be his last Olympic race. 

Bolt's haul of nine golds is the joint highest in the history of Olympic athletics.

Afterwards, Bolt said the win proved he was "the greatest". 

Bolt celebrates his 30th birthday tomorrow.
