Tests are to be carried out on bones that were unearthed near St James’s Hospital in Dublin.

It's not yet known if they're human remains or an animal, and they were found during excavation work yesterday.

Forensic anthropologists are expected at the scene this morning.

Gardai believe the remains may be historical.
