Bono has become the first man to feature in Glamour magazine's Women of the Year list in the US.
The publication's editor says they wanted to recognise his work campaigning for women's rights and his 'Poverty is Sexist' campaign.
Other people who will receive awards at the ceremony later this month include gymnast Simone Biles, musician Gwen Stefani and IMF chief Christine Lagarde.
