The President, Michael D Higgins, has offered his sympathy to the families of the 10 victims of the fire in Carrickmines.
There were queues of people outside the Mansion House in Dublin, with people eager to show their solidarity.
Anumber of Books of Condolence have now opened around the country so the public can offer their support.
